Job Title: Project Through Life Support Manager
Location: Portsmouth (HM Naval Base)
Service Area: O&M, Service Delivery
Hours of Work: 37 Per week, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

What You’ll be doing:
With a busy project delivery programme ahead of us, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Through Life Support Manager to join our Service Delivery Team to support the successful delivery of projects and their smooth transition into service.
The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring that Service Delivery support as required the delivery of projects through design and construction phases and confirming that Service Delivery has access to all necessary information / resource to operate and maintain new assets prior to project handover.
You’ll also support the smooth transition of projects from the construction phase through handover into service, ensuring Service Delivery has available details of asset warrantees together with contact details for dealing with warrantee issues. Aligning this, you’ll produce a monthly management report detailing the utilisation of Service Delivery resources to support project delivery, and Project Manage any project remedial works.
You’ll Have:
A HNC/HND/BTec Level 4/5 or above in an engineering discipline suitable, similar experience in a current or previous role. Additionally, you’ll Have experience of managing the handover of building / construction works, either in the capacity of a contractor or from a client’s perspective and have exposure of delivering change.
With experience of managing the operation / maintenance of buildings in an industrial environment, you’ll also be competent with use of computer-based systems and have experience in the use of Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems and be numerate and comfortable in preparing cost information.
