Delivering a vital role across HMNB Portsmouth in support of the Royal Navy and visiting allied Navies, our Port Operatives support the berthing and movement of all warships within the Naval Base.
With over 900 ship movements a year, our newest Port Operatives will now be equipped with the skills and training to respond to the dynamic needs of the Royal Navy – from berthing warships, taking ships through locks and into dry docks and operating Jack Up Barges to assisting in heavy lift operations over the base’s three miles of jetties and waterfront!
